Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Bhutan, Thimphu
Pick up from the airport (according to your flight arrival)
and transfer to Thimphu (1.5 hours’ drive), Capital city of Bhutan.
- Check in the hotel and freshen up
- Lunch at the hotel
- Visit Zorig-Chhosuem, School of Bhutanese traditional Arts.
- Short hike to Wangditse and Takin preserve center
Evening
- Visit Tashichodzong the government house and office of his Majesty the king of Bhutan
- Enjoy a traditional dinner at the Folk Heritage Restaurant

Day 02: Thimphu
Morning
- Start the day with the circumambulation of Memorial chorten and Buddha Point
- Visit Pangri Zampa- the Astrology school and possibility to read ones fortune.
- Visit Kaja-Throm the Centenary Farmers market to explore local farm produce
- Lunch in a restaurant in Town

Day 03: Thimphu- Punakha
Morning
- Check out of hotel and drive to Punakha over Dochula Pass. Enjoy the scenic Himalayan Mountain ranges on the clear days.
- Visit Chimi-Lhakhang the fertility temple of the Divine Mad-man.
- Lunch in at the restaurant overlooking Chimi-Lhakhang
Afternoon
- Visit Punakha Dzong, the old capital of Bhutan and also winter residence of the chief abbot
- Walk over the longest suspension bridge to cross the Pho-chu river, explore Mendegang village on the other side.

Day 04: Punakha-Bumthang

- Drive to Bumthang from Punakha
- Lunch at Willing waterfall restaurant

- Visit Trongsa dzong, the biggest fortress in the Bhutan

- Check in the hotel

Day 07: Phobjikha

Day 08: Phobjikha-Haa
